Summer time is a funner time

Oh my gosh.
I am the worst blogger ever. It has been so loonnnngggg.
I have just had 0 time. Less time than I had finals week.

Here are a random list of events since I last blogged:
Friday, May 6: last final. left to go backpacking in NC with Leslie and her family!
May 9: Made it to Savannah, and found out I made a B in Precal! (Which means I am FO SHO going to App State next year!)
May 10: Started work at Six Pence Pub in Savannah, and today was my first day off. Woah.

and in between that, I have made a lot of great food at home, been sailing, kayaking, island exploring, beaching it, reading, attempting organization, working random shifts at Red Clover Boutique, running a lot, and sleeping.

Oh and I can't do BRAG this summer, long story....actually I just can't get off work, so I am doing a 10k in Roswell, GA. Yippee!

and here is a picture from my lovely first day off, which was spent at the beach

I PROMISE I'll be back sooner than later!

Bittersweetness

It's my last two days in Milledgeville.
I am currently sitting on the front porch of the business building, studying for finals, and looking out over campus. I haven't stepped foot for more than 30 minutes in the library today, all my studying has been spent outside, soaking in my last few days here. It sure is bitter sweet.

but here are some happy things from finals week:
little birdies chatting it up in the trees
seniors walking around taking pictures in their robes
late night delirium in the library
falling asleep in the library bean bag chairs
playing with the expo boards while working on math
taking breaks to go on runs with people I will miss
good hugs
Emitt-Nershi Band keeping me going
Knowing in two days, I will forever be done with precalculus
yummy late night coffee
finding new study spots, that were always there but never taken advantage of
motivational quotes written in chalk on the path to campus
grade curves
pretty colored scarves
inside picnics with chick fila after a long day
passing notes and funny drawings across the table in the library
the air before a stormy night

ignore the crappy quality--they were taken on my computer
